ABOUT THE RICK BIORDI BAND

Guitarist, singer, songwriter, and recording artist Rick Biordi brings an electrifying blend of rock, blues, R&B, Latin, soul, and funk to the stage. With a seasoned career spanning multiple genres and collaborations with renowned artists, his music delivers a powerful and passionate live experience.

Originally from Chicago, Rick began performing at premier venues such as the Park West, Arie Crown Theater, Chicago Theatre, UIC Pavilion, Petrillo Band Shell, and Aragon Ballroom at an early age. He has toured nationwide, sharing the stage with icons like Eddie Martinez, Speech & Arrested Development, Steve Cole, Shawn Christopher, Tina Crawley, Kelsey Lindstrom, Christian Ray, Mike Flynn, 2TonLevy, and more. A highlight of his career includes an all-star performance at the Rose Bowl in California.

Now based in Portland, Oregon, Rick has launched his solo project, The Rick Biordi Band, featuring some of the hottest musicians from the Portland, Seattle, Pacific Northwest, and West Coast music scene. Their shows are a high-energy mix of deep grooves, soulful melodies, and fiery guitar work, captivating audiences with a dynamic and heartfelt performance.

Technical Requirements

Stage Plot & Setup

  • 1 Guitar/Vocal (Rick Biordi – center stage)

  • 1 Bass (stage left)

  • 1 Drums (center rear)

  • 1 Keys (stage right)

  • 1–2 Backing Vocals (if applicable)

  • Additional guest vocalist mic (when featured)

  • Power access for pedalboard, keyboard, and in-ear monitors (if used)

  • Please provide adequate space for a full band setup

Sound Requirements

  • Vocal mics (Shure SM58 or equivalent)

  • DI for acoustic/electric guitar

  • DI for keys

  • DI or mic for bass amp

  • Full drum mic setup (kick, snare, overheads, toms, hi-hat)

  • Minimum of 3 stage monitors (vocal, drums, keys)

  • FOH system suitable for venue size

  • Sound engineer (if not provided, please notify in advance)

Lighting & Special Requests

  • Basic front and back lighting preferred for visibility and ambiance

  • Colored wash or stage lighting (optional but appreciated)

  • Please inform us ahead of time if smoke/haze or any visual effects will be used

  • Bottled water for each performer
